PlexiDrone is not designed to compete with recently introduced lower-power micro-drones like the Karma or Mavic. Although PlexiDrone has the same or better compactness & portability of the newer micro-drones, when it comes to power, performance, and camera capability, PlexiDrone is designed to compete with products closer in specification to the DJI Inspire 2.

The PlexiDrone development team has understood from inception that the timing for release of the PlexiDrone product line had to be well coordinated with the release of competitor products. Our development team has been researching, dissecting, building drones, and creating new technology for the past 5 years. This is in addition to their combined backgrounds in aerospace, mechanical, and electrical engineering for commercial and military applications.
