PlexiDrone is Not Designed to Compete with Current Drone Tech
PlexiDrone is not designed to compete with recently introduced lower-power micro-drones like the Karma or Mavic. Although PlexiDrone has the same or better compactness & portability of the newer micro-drones, when it comes to power, performance, and camera capability; PlexiDrone is designed to compete with products closer in specification to the DJI Inspire 2.

We had to study. We had to hustle. We had to stay awake.
The PlexiDrone development team has understood from inception that the timing for release of the PlexiDrone product-line had to be well coordinated with the release of competitor products. Our development team has been researching, dissecting, building drones, and creating new technology for the past 5 years. This is in addition to their combined backgrounds in aerospace, mechanical, and electrical engineering for commercial and military applications.
DreamQii has used this experience to help predict which features will be introduced into the commercial camera drone market, and when they would be released. By necessity of being a small team (and being hungry to compete) the current and future state of drone tech had to be well understood. For a quick back-ground into how some of these predictions are done we recommend you take a quick read of this blurb, or watch the video below. Yes... it's a little monotonic, but Mr. Kurzweil's perspectives have had some earth shaking influence in the tech space!
